Change in Rentschler's management
The Laupheim-based CDMO Rentschler Biopharma is getting new leadership, with the CEO and COO leaving the company.
The current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Benedikt von Braunmühl is leaving the company, and the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Prof. Uwe Bücheler, is taking over the business on an interim basis with immediate effect.
Christiane Bardroff, Chief Operating Officer (COO), is also leaving the company in the first quarter of this year. Unlike the CEO, her successor has already been appointed by the Supervisory Board and will be announced shortly, according to the company.
The company attributes the change in leadership to the next phase of its corporate strategy, which aims for ‘long-term growth and sustainable value creation’.
Von Braunmühl was appointed in September 2023, while Bardroff worked for the globally successful CDMO for four years.
Bücheler, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 2024, held management positions at Boehringer Ingelheim for many years and brings a wealth of expertise in the global biopharmaceutical business.
