A look at vital figures makes it clear that Vetter is a very successful, globally active Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). In 2020, the company has achieved annual sales revenues of more than 700 million euros while the number of staff members has grown to over 5,000. Now, there is further proof.  For the second time in a row, the family-owned company has been awarded the „Axia Best Managed Companies Award“.

 

The consulting firm Deloitte, the prominent German business journal „WirtschaftsWoche“, Credit Suisse, and the Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie BDI (Federation of German Industries) award the seal of quality annually to medium-sized companies that score points with a clear vision, innovative approaches, sustainable management culture and sound financial management.

The company was again honored for its clear vision, innovative approaches, sustainable management culture and sound financial management.The company presented convincing evidence in the evaluated categories – starting with the competent handling of the current challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, to the successful acquisition of a new production site in Vorarlberg, Austria, as well as its new company strategy, Vetter Next 2029, which is currently in progress.

 

 “This award is dedicated to our 5,500 staff members worldwide,” said Senator h.c. Udo J. Vetter, Chairman of the Advisory Board and member of the owner family. “The special spirit of our family-owned company is particularly evident in these challenging times.” For the company and its staff members, winning the award once again is considered both a trusted confirmation and a strong motivation. The application process for the „Axia Best Managed Companies Award“ is extremely demanding and takes place in three-stages. A jury of experts made up of renowned representatives from business, science and the media had to be convinced in their selection.
